Delete your account

Last updated: May 11, 2026

You can permanently delete your WalletBuddy account and all of the data tied to it at any time. This page explains both options — the one-tap deletion inside the app, and the web request form for users who no longer have access to their device.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open the WalletBuddy app and sign in.
  2. Tap Settings in the bottom tab bar.
  3. Tap AccountDelete account.
  4. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Your wallet, your benefit usage history, your notification settings, and your account record are removed.

Option 2 — Delete by contacting us

If you no longer have access to your device or your sign-in, you can submit a deletion request through the contact channels listed on our support page. Contact information will be published there when WalletBuddy launches. We verify and process every request within 30 days and confirm by reply.

If you signed in with Apple and used "Hide My Email," submit the request from the relay address Apple gave us — or include your Apple ID email so we can match the account.

What gets deleted

  • Your account identifier and any name / email we stored.
  • The cards you added to your wallet.
  • Your full benefit-usage history (what you logged, when, and the amount).
  • Your notification preferences and push tokens.

What may be retained

We may retain a limited record of subscription receipts and security logs where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, and anonymized analytics that cannot be linked back to you. These residual records are listed in our Privacy Policy.

Cancel a subscription first

Deleting your WalletBuddy account does not cancel your Apple subscription, because subscriptions are billed by Apple. Cancel in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → WalletBuddy before deleting your account, otherwise Apple will continue to bill you.
