Coming at launch
Support channels will be available when WalletBuddy launches.
We're setting up dedicated support and privacy inboxes so that the first email you send actually reaches a human. Check back here at launch — this page will be updated with live contact details and the typical response time you can expect.
In the meantime, the FAQ below answers the most common questions. If your card isn't in our catalog yet, hang on a bit — we'll publish a request form alongside the contact information.
Frequently asked
Does WalletBuddy connect to my bank or read my transactions?
No. We never connect to your bank, we don't use Plaid or any aggregator, and we don't read your transactions. You add the card product (e.g. Amex Platinum) and we map its benefits.
How does WalletBuddy know if I used a benefit?
You tell us. When you use a credit (say, a $20 Uber Cash credit), tap it in the app and we log it against the current period. We can't infer usage from your bank because we have no bank connection.
Which cards are supported?
WalletBuddy launches with 110+ premium cards across 10 major U.S. issuers — Amex, Chase, Capital One, Citi, Bank of America, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo, Barclays, Bilt, and Apple Card. If your card isn't there yet, we'll publish a way to request additions when the app launches.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
WalletBuddy Pro is billed through Apple. Open iOS Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → WalletBuddy → Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I get a refund?
Subscription refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request a refund for the WalletBuddy purchase. We don't process refunds directly because we never receive your payment details.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app → Settings → Account → Delete account. Or visit walletbuddy.app/delete-account from any browser. All your wallet and benefit history is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Reset reminders aren't firing — what should I check?
Open iOS Settings → Notifications → WalletBuddy and confirm notifications are enabled. Inside the app, Settings → Notifications lets you toggle which reset periods you want reminders for. If you still don't see them, email us.
Is WalletBuddy affiliated with the credit card issuers?
No. WalletBuddy is an independent app. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by American Express, Chase, Capital One, Citi, or any other issuer or card network. Card and benefit data is compiled from issuer-published terms.
